Silgan announced that it entered into an agreement to sell €600 million aggregate principal amount of its new 4¼% Senior Notes due 2031 at 100 percent of their principal amount. The new notes will mature on February 15, 2031, and interest on the new notes will be payable semi-annually on February 15 and August 15 of each year, commencing on February 15, 2026. The new notes will be guaranteed by the U.S. subsidiaries of Silgan that guarantee obligations under Silgan’s senior secured credit facility and existing senior secured and unsecured notes. Silgan intends to use the net proceeds from the notes to repay outstanding revolving loans under its senior secured credit facility and for other general corporate purposes.
