What a time it’s been for Olo. In the past six months alone, the company’s stock price has increased by a massive 73.2%, reaching $7.55 per share. This was partly thanks to its solid quarterly results, and the run-up might have investors contemplating their next move.
Restaurant software company (NYSEOLO) reported Q3 CY2024 results exceeding the market’s revenue expectations, with sales up 24.3% year on year to $71.85 million. The company expects next quarter’s revenue to be around $72.75 million, close to analysts’ estimates. Its non-GAAP profit of $0.06 per share was also 16.1% above analysts’ consensus estimates.
Dutch Bros reported quarterly earnings of 9 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 2 cents by 350%. Quarterly sales clocked in at $275.1 million, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $254.5 million by 8.09% and representing a 39.46% increase over sales of $197.27 million from the same period last year.
Toast is a solid business all around. However, it will need to continue its profitability and growth trajectories for our fair value price to make sense. If growth slows, or reasonable profitability never materializes, this will be a loser.
