Shares of casual restaurant chain Noodles & Company (NASDAQNDLS)
fell 16.1% in the morning session after the company reported weak third-quarter earnings. Its revenue, EBITDA, and EPS missed expectations, and it lowered the full-year revenue guidance. Same store sales fell 3.3% year on year as a 5.8% decline in company-owned restaurant traffic more than offset price increases.
Casual restaurant chain Noodles & Company (NASDAQNDLS) missed Wall Street’s revenue expectations in Q3 CY2024, with sales falling 4% year on year to $122.8 million. The company’s full-year revenue guidance of $491 million at the midpoint came in 1.6% below analysts’ estimates. Its non-GAAP loss of $0.12 per share was also 112% below analysts’ consensus estimates.
