Crain's New York Business has named Kaplan Educational Foundation (KEF) Executive Director Nolvia Delgado to its prestigious "40 Under 40" list (Pages 30-31) in recognition of her work to eliminate barriers and create educational opportunities for underserved communities.

Twelve years after being accepted into the Kaplan Educational Foundation (KEF)’s highly selective Kaplan Leadership Program, first-generation college student Nolvia Delgado will take the helm of the Foundation as its next leader: a living testament to the program’s mission of providing high-potential community college students with the opportunity to attend top four-year universities, and to become leaders in their professions and communities.

The Kaplan Educational Foundation (KEF) recognized leaders in the KEF community who have played critical roles in ensuring educational and economic equity for community college students of color nationwide at its inaugural Stand up for Diversity Awards, which was held virtually on November 17. The event highlighted honorees’ efforts and gave thanks to the many partners and organizations that have supported KEF by providing internships, mentorships, and financial support to ensure the organization meets its mission.
