An ongoing review of information gathered during the investigation determined that certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information was exposed and/or acquired by an unauthorized third party.

The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to the Chicago Cardiology Institute’s network and accessed certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information.

Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse immediately launched an investigation into the incident. The investigation concluded that an unauthorized party accessed certain individuals’ sensitive information on Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse’s network.

On October 18, 2024, the Clinics filed notice of a data breach with the Attorney General of Maine. The Clinics experienced a cybersecurity incident involving their network on June 26, 2024. The Clinics immediately launched an investigation into the incident. On September 10, 2024, after a thorough review of the information gathered during the investigation, it was determined that certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information was exposed and/or acquired.

A review of information gathered during the investigation concluded on October 3, 2024, and determined that certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information was exposed and/or acquired by an unauthorized third party.

Action Automatic Sprinkler, Inc. and Alarm Fire Alarm, LLC. dba Action Fire Pros has not released any additional details about the breach.

Easterseals experienced a cybersecurity incident disrupting their network on April 1, 2024. Easterseals immediately launched an investigation into the incident. On October 7, 2024, after a review of the investigation’s findings, it was determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to Easterseals network and accessed certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information.

On August 15, 2024, after a thorough review of the information gathered during the investigation, it was determined that certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information may have been exposed and/or acquired between June 28, 2024, and July 6, 2024.

On February 28, 2024, DA&E experienced a cybersecurity incident causing disruption to their network. DA&E immediately launched an investigation into the incident. On September 26, 2024, after a thorough review of the information, the investigation determined that certain individuals personal and sensitive information may have been exposed and/or acquired.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Muskogee City County Enhanced 911 Trust Authority (“MCC911”) for data breach. On September 20, 2024, MCC911 filed notice of a ransomware attack to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Between April 4, 2024, and July 31, 2024, MCC911 experienced a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to their network. MCC911 launched an investigation into the incident. The investigation determined the information that may have been exposed or acquired belongs to anyone who received emergency medical services in Muskogee County between January 2011 through April 2023.

On October 9, 2024, Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, PC, the parent company of New York Plastic Surgical Group filed notice of a data breach with the Attorney General of Texas. Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, PC is a healthcare services provider based in New York City, New York. Between January 4, 2024, and January 8, 2024, Long Island Plastic Surgical Group experienced a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to their network. Long Island Plastic Surgical Group launched an investigation into the incident. The investigation concluded on September 15, 2024, and determined that certain individual’s personal and sensitive information was exposed and acquired.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Mason Construction, LLC for data breach. On October 9, 2024, Mason Construction filed notice of a data breach with the Attorney General of Texas. Mason Construction is headquartered in Beaumont, Texas and specializes in site preparation, piling installation, concrete construction, civil site work and environmental services.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Kulicke and Soffa Industries (K&S) for data breach. On May 12, 2024, K&S was contacted by ransomware group “LockBit Black” informing K&S that they acquired and encrypted certain files from the K&S network. K&S immediately hired a third-party forensics team and began an investigation. While the investigation is still ongoing, on July 12, 2024, the forensic team verified that specific individuals’ personal data was taken from the K&S network and posted to the dark web. K&S filed notice of the incident with the California Attorney General on October 10, 2024.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Omni Family Health (“Omni”) for data breach. On August 7, 2024, Omni started an investigation into a cybersecurity claim about information from their network on the dark web. Upon completion of the investigation, it was determined the claim was real and certain Omni patients and employees personal and sensitive information was exposed. Omni filed notice of the incident with the California Attorney General on October 10, 2024.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Fidelity Investments (“Fidelity”) for data breach. Between August 17 and August 19, an unauthorized third party accessed two customer accounts acquiring certain information belonging to Fidelity customers. Fidelity launched an investigation into the incident and after a review of the information acquired, they began issuing letters to affected individuals on October 9, 2024. Fidelity Investments is one of the world’s largest asset managers and investment firms.

In October and November 2023, FTV detected unusual activity on their network involving two separate unauthorized third parties. FTV immediately launched an investigation into the incidents. On September 3, 2024, after a thorough review of the information gathered during the investigation, FTV determined that certain individuals personal and sensitive information was accessed between January 25, 2023, and November 6, 2023. FTV is an industrial technology company based out of Everett, Washington.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Find Great People (“FGP”) for data breach. On July 19, 2024, FGP experienced a network disruption that impacted the functionality and access of certain systems. FGP immediately launched an investigation into the incident which concluded around September 13, 2024. After a review of the findings, FGP determined an unauthorized third-party accessed certain individuals personal and sensitive information on their network from July 2, 2024, to July 19, 2024. FGP is a nationally recognized recruiting and HR Consulting firm.

Federman & Sherwood investigates TransUnion Risk and Alternative Data Solutions (“TRADS”) for data breach. On July 24, 2024, TRADS launched an investigation after suspicious activity was detected on their network. The investigation concluded on September 10, 2024, revealing individuals misrepresented themselves in order to gain access to TRADS products which may have exposed certain individuals personal and sensitive information.

Federman & Sherwood investigates the Trustees of the Walters Art Gallery, Inc. dba the Walters Art Museum (“WAM”) for data breach. On November 18, 2023, WAM became aware of a cybersecurity incident that affected the functionality of their computer systems and network. WAM launched an investigation into the incident and determined that an unauthorized user accessed their network between October 10, 2023, and November 18, 2023. The information that was accessed contained certain individuals personal and sensitive information.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Constar Financial Services for data breach. On July 22, 2024, Constar became aware of a cybersecurity incident on their partner company’s network. Constar’s partner immediately launched an investigation into the incident discovering that an unauthorized user gained access and acquire certain individuals personal and sensitive information from their network. Empereon Constar is a leading business process outsourcing company providing end-to-end customer engagement and customer management solutions.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Feldstein & Stewart CPAs, LLP (“F&S”) for data breach. On March 25, 2024, F&S became aware of a cybersecurity incident that disrupted the connection to their network. F&S launched an investigation into the incident and determined that an unauthorized actor gained access to their network and acquired files containing certain individuals personal and sensitive information. F&S filed noticed of the incident with the Maine Attorney General’s Office on September 25, 2024. F&S is a full-service accounting firm.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Prentke Romich Company dba PRC-Saltillo (“PRC-Saltillo”) for data breach. Around August 21, 2024, PRC-Saltillo became aware of a cybersecurity incident involving their computer network. PRC-Saltillo immediately launched an investigation into the incident and determined that between August 13, 2024, and August 21, 2024, an unauthorized actor copied files and folder from their network. Upon review of the accessed information, it was determined that certain individuals personal and sensitive information was accessed. The Prentke Romich Company dba PRC-Saltillo is a company that develops augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and language systems to help people with communication disorders communicate

Federman & Sherwood investigates Cumberland Heights Foundation for data breach. On February 21, 2024, Cumberland Heights became aware of a cybersecurity incident involving their Microsoft O365. Cumberland Heights launched in investigation into the incident. After a thorough review of the investigation findings, it was determined that certain individuals personal and sensitive information was accessed. Cumberland Heights began mailing notices on August 5, 2024. Cumberland Heights is a substance abuse rehabilitation center located Nashville, TN.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Community Clinic of Maui, Inc., dba Malama I Ke Ola Health Center (“Malama”) for data breach. On May 7, 2024, Malama experienced a cybersecurity incident that impacted their network. Malama launched an investigation into the incident and determined that between May 4, 2024, and May 7, 2024, an unauthorized actor accessed and acquired certain individuals personal and sensitive information on their network. Malama provides comprehensive primary care medical, dental, health and prenatal services on the island of Maui.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Mattson Technology, Inc. (“Mattson”) for data breach. Mattson became aware of a cybersecurity incident on April 30, 2023. Mattson launched an investigation into the incident and determined that between April 11, 2023, and April 29, 2023, an unauthorized actor accessed and/or removed files from their network. Some of those files contained personal and sensitive information of certain individuals. Mattson designs, manufactures, markets and globally supports semiconductor wafer processing equipment used in the fabrication of integrated circuits

Federman & Sherwood investigates Amgen, Inc. for data breach. Amgen became aware of a cybersecurity incident that involved one of their service providers, Sirva Relocation, LLC and its parent company Sirva, Inc. Sirva was provided personal information for processing on behalf of Amgen. Around September 29, 2023, Sirva noticed unusual activity on their network. Sirva began an investigation, which concluded August 8, 2024, into the incident and determined that between August 16, 2023, and October 17, 2023, an unauthorized third-party accessed and copied files containing personal and sensitive information of certain individuals.

Federman & Sherwood investigates New TSI Holdings, Inc./New York Sports Club for data breach. On September 26, 2024, New York Sports Club filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General’s Office of California after discovering an unauthorized user accessed files on their servers. New York Sports Club launched an investigation into the incident revealing around 19,836 individuals personal and sensitive information was accessed on or about July 27, 2024. New York Sports Club is a gym chain that offers a variety of fitness services.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Wright, Moore, DeHart, Dupuis & Hutchinson, LLC (“WMDDH”) for data breach. On or around July 11, 2023, WMDDH experienced a cybersecurity incident involving their network. WMDDH launched an investigation into the incident. A review of the information accessed completed on May 8, 2024, determining certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information was acquired. WMDDH is an accounting firm that provides financial guidance to individuals and businesses.

Federman & Sherwood Investigates Globe Life Inc. for Data Breach. On June 13, 2024, Globe Life launched an investigation into a cybersecurity incident that may have resulted in unauthorized access to Globe Life’s web portal. While the investigation is still on going, Globe Life reported the incident to the Securities and Exchange Commission on June 14, 2024. Globe Life is an insurance company that offers a range of life, health, and annuity products. The incident may have compromised certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information.

Federman & Sherwood investigates LA Financial Federal Credit Union (“LA Financial”) for data breach. On September 13, 2024, LA Financial filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General’s Office of California after suspicious activity involving an employee’s email account. LA Financial launched an investigation into the incident determining certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information was acquired. LA Financial Credit Union offers a variety of financial services to its members.

On September 17, 2024, Fireworks Software filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General’s Office of Maine after an unauthorized party gained access to their network. Fireworks Software launched an investigation into the incident determining certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information was acquired between June 23, 2024, and June 26, 2024. Fireworks Software is a software company that provides customer relationship management services to higher education institutions, including Rowan College at Burlington County.

The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into TradeZero America Inc. with respect to their recent data breach. On or around July 29, 2024, TradeZero America Inc. learned of suspicious activity affecting the environment of its third-party vendor, Tawk.To. TradeZero America Inc. immediately launched an investigation and determined that an unauthorized actor may have had access to personal information contained in certain files associated with customer communications that were contained on the Tawk.To platform. The investigation determined that the following information was impacted: individuals name, Social Security number, driver’s license number, financial brokerage and/or bank account information, and passport number.

The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Insurance Agency Marketing Services, Inc. with respect to their recent data breach. Between March 1 and May 3, 2024, a third party accessed IAMS computer systems remotely and obtained files containing personal information. Upon discovering the incident, IAMS engaged external experts to remediate, investigate, and determine the scope of the breach. The investigation determined that the following information was accessed: individuals name, Social Security number, Passport number, driver’s license number, account number, date of birth, EIN’s, certain financial information, business email credentials, and certain medical information.

On December 5, 2024, Tuttle-Click Automotive Group identified suspicious activity on its network and that certain systems were encrypted by malware. Upon discovering the event, TCAG moved quickly to bring its systems offline, ensure the security of the network, and launched an investigation into the nature and scope of the event The investigation determined that an unknown actor gained access to certain TCAG systems and accessed and/or acquired certain data from the network. The information that could have been accessed includes individuals name and Social Security number.

The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into siParadigm LLC with respect to their recent data breach. On June 11, 2024, siParadigm detected an incident involving unauthorized access to siParadigm’s computer network. siParadigm immediately initiated its incident response, engaged additional third-party experts, and commenced an investigation. The specialized third parties secured siParadigm’s environment, hardened and enhanced its network security, and completed a digital forensic investigation to determine the extent of unauthorized activity within siParadigm’s network. The investigation determined that the following information was assessed: individual’s name, Social Security number date of birth, address and medical information.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Skyland Grain, LLC (Skyland) for data breach. On September 11, 2024, Skyland filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General’s Office of Texas after an unauthorized party gained access to their network. Skyland launched an investigation into the incident determining certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information was accessed between February 22, 2024, and February 23, 2024. Skyland is a grain farmers’ co-op providing producers with the supplies and services their operations need to succeed today and in the future.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Alma College for data breach. On September 11, 2024, Alma College filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General’s Office of Vermont after information was mistakenly published to Alma College’s internal SharePoint from March 2023 until April 2024. Alma College launched an investigation into the incident determining certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information were a part of the incident. Alma College is a liberal arts college located in mid-Michigan.

The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Johnson & Wales University with respect to their recent data breach. On July 11, 2024, JWU learned of activity in its network that happened without its permission. In response, JWU took immediate steps to secure its systems and promptly launched an investigation. In so doing, JWU engaged digital forensics and incident response specialists to determine the nature and scope of the incident and to identify any information that may have been accessed or acquired without authorization. The information that could have been subject to unauthorized access includes individuals name, Social Security number and financial account information.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Oldenburg Group Incorporated and Visa Lighting for data breach. On September 10, 2024, Oldenburg Group Incorporated and Visa Lighting filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General’s Office of Maine after experiencing a ransomware incident between May 4, 2024, and May 5, 2024. Oldenburg launched an investigation into the incident (which is still ongoing) and determined the unauthorized access involved certain individuals’ personal and sensitive information. Oldenburg is a Wisconsin-based global supplier of engineered heavy equipment and architectural lighting products.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Express Services, Inc. (“Express”) for data breach. On September 13, 2024, Express filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General’s Office of Texas. Around June 21, 2024, Express discovered unauthorized access to their IT network and immediately launched an investigation. Express discovered that between May 7, 2024, and June 20, 2024, an unauthorized third party accessed two email accounts and also copied data from their network which included certain individuals personal and sensitive information. Express is a leading staffing provider in the U.S., Canada, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Sibanye-Stillwater for data breach. On September 14, 2024, Sibanye-Stillwater filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General’s Office of Maine. Around July 8, 2024, Sibanye-Stillwater discovered unauthorized access to their IT network and immediately launched an investigation. Sibanye-Stillwater still has an ongoing investigation into the incident but determined the unauthorized access occurred mid-June 2024 and involved access to certain individuals personal and sensitive information. Sibanye-Stillwater is a multinational mining and metals processing group

Federman & Sherwood investigates David’s Bridal for data breach. On September 13, 2024, David’s Bridal filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General’s Office of Maine after discovering unauthorized access to their network. David’s Bridal launched an investigation into the incident and determined the unauthorized access occurred around January 20, 2024, and involved access to certain individuals personal and sensitive information. David’s Bridal sells dresses for weddings, proms, quinceañeras, and other formal events and also offers alterations.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Kemper Sports Management, LLC for data breach. On September 9, 2024, KemperSports filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General’s Office of Maine after discovering unauthorized access to their network. KemperSports launched an investigation into the incident and determined the unauthorized access occurred on April 1, 2024, and involved access to certain individuals personal and sensitive information (mainly pertaining to current and former employees). KemperSports manages golf courses, resorts, private clubs, and sports venues.

Federman & Sherwood investigates U.S. Merchants Financial Group for data breach. On September 6, 2024, U.S. Merchants Financial Group filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General Office of California after discovering unauthorized access to their network. U.S. Merchants Financial Group launched an investigation that concluded on August 2, 2024, and determined that the unauthorized access occurred around February 13, 2024, and involved certain individuals personal and sensitive information. U.S. Merchants Financial Group manufactures and distributes packaging materials.

Federman & Sherwood investigates RetailData for data breach. On September 6, 2024, RetailData filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General Office of Maine after discovering unauthorized access to their network. Retail Data explains that the unauthorized access occurred around June 22, 2024, and involved certain individuals' personal and sensitive information. RetailData is a leading provider of observational intelligence and auditing solutions for businesses of all sizes and industries.

Federman & Sherwood investigates One Point HR Solutions, Inc. (“One Point”) for data breach. On September 6, 2024, One Point filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General Office of Maine after discovering suspicious activity in their email environment. One Point explains that the unauthorized access occurred between July 3, 2023, and February 14, 2024. One Point determined certain personal and sensitive information was accessed but is still investigating the incident. One Point HR Solutions, Inc. is a professional staffing organization headquartered in the Cincinnati Tri-State area with offices nationwide.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Elmhurst Development LLC (“Elmhurst”) for data breach. On September 5, 2024, Elmhurst filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General Offices of Maine and Vermont after discovering that confidential information was compromised in an apparent cyberattack. In this notice Elmhurst explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access certain individuals’ sensitive information. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Elmhurst is a real estate investment company that’s portfolio includes 40 buildings and 21 sites.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Riverside Resort & Casino (“Riverside”) for data breach. On September 5, 2024, Riverside filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General Offices of Maine and California after discovering that confidential information was compromised in an apparent cyberattack. In this notice Riverside explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access certain individuals’ sensitive information. Headquartered in Laughlin, Nevada, Riverside is a well-known hotel and casino resort. Riverside attracts 5 million visitors annually and employs 1,700 people. The resort generates approximately $316 million in annual revenue.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Dr. Daniel J. Leeman for data breach. On September 4, 2024, Dr. Daniel J. Leeman filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Texas after discovering that confidential information that had been provided to the practice was compromised in an apparent cyberattack. In this notice, Daniel J. Leeman, M.D. explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access certain individuals’ sensitive information.

Federman & Sherwood investigates Welcome Health for data breach. On July 8, 2024, Welcome Health became aware of suspicious activity on a Welcome Health user’s email account. Welcome Health launched an investigation into the incident and determined that between June 11, 2024, and July 8, 2024, an unauthorized party accessed Welcome Health’s systems which contain individuals personal and sensitive information. On September 9, 2024, Welcome Health reported the data breach to the California Attorney General.

The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Rockland Trust with respect to their recent data breach. On May 15, 2024, a vendor for Rockland Trust accidentally shared certain individuals’ personal information with a third-party. Rockland Trust immediately contacted the third-party involved and received confirmation the personal information they accessed had been deleted. On September 5, 2024, Rockland Trust reported the data breach to the Vermont Attorney General.
