FOX News Channel (FNC) delivered its highest-rated January in cable news history and marked 23 consecutive years as the number one network in cable news, according to data from Nielsen Media Research. In primetime (8 – 11 PM/ET), FNC delivered 2.8 million viewers and 353,000 in the 25-54 demographic, growing its audience 40% year-over-year in total viewership and 61% in the 25-54 demo. In total day, FNC drew 1.9 million viewers and 253,000 in the 25-54 demo, marking 53% growth year-over-year with viewers and 70% in the 25-54 demo. Meanwhile CNN and MSNBC both saw all time January lows in the 25-54 demo with CNN slumping to 80,000 in total day and 118,000 in primetime, while MSNBC lagged to just 45,000 viewers in total day and 63,000 viewers in primetime. FNC commanded 67% of total day viewers and 69% of primetime viewers in January which was its second highest share in network history. Once again, more Independents and Democrats continued to tune in to FNC over any other network across total day, according to data from Nielsen MRI Fusion. FNC was also number one in cable news with Asians, Hispanics and upscale viewers throughout total day. Additionally, FNC was January’s fastest growing cable news network in both viewers and the 25-54 demographic.

FOX News Channel (FNC) commanded its highest-share of the cable news audience in network history across total day, holding 62% of the cable news audience during the historic election month, according to data from Nielsen Media Research. Leading across every category, FNC marked 45 consecutive months as number one with cable news in primetime and total day in both viewers and the 25-54 demographic. In primetime (8 – 11 PM/ET), FNC delivered 3.2 million viewers and 476,000 in the 25-54 demographic, growing its audience 86% year-over-year in total viewership and 147% in the 25-54 demo. In total day, FNC drew 2 million viewers and 282,000 in the 25-54 demo, marking 67% growth year-over-year with viewers and 101% in the 25-54 demo. Once again, more Independents and Democrats continued to tune in to FNC over any other network with A25-54, according to data from Nielsen MRI Fusion. FNC was also number one in cable news with Asians, Hispanics and upscale viewers throughout total day. Additionally, FNC was November’s fastest growing television network in both viewers and the 25-54 demographic. This month, FNC delivered 248 telecasts with over two million viewers, compared to MSNBC which saw just 14 and CNN with only ten.

FOX News Channel (FNC) continued to break ratings records in 2024, finishing the year with the highest share of the cable news audience in nearly a decade as it marks nine consecutive years as the highest-rated cable network in all of television, according to Nielsen Media Research. FNC was the number one network throughout the political cycle and more viewers tuned into the network for breaking news coverage of major events than any other cable news channel, catapulting FNC to another year of ratings dominance. This past year, FNC held 56% of the cable news audience in primetime and 53% in total day, securing the majority of those watching the genre and notching its highest share of the audience since 2015. FNC was up the most in every category versus the year prior, posting double-digit gains across the board, and delivered double and triple-digit advantages over the competition in viewers, A25-54 and A18-49. In primetime, FNC averaged 2,384,000 viewers (+30% vs. 2023) and 294,000 in A25-54 (+40% vs. 2023), topping CNN and MSNBC combined in viewership. In total day, FNC saw 1,458,000 viewers (+21% vs. 2023) and 186,000 in A25-54 (+26% vs. 2023). The fastest growing cable channel of the year, FNC programs made up 70 of the top 100 cable news telecasts and the network had the highest length of tune in the genre across all categories. Additionally, more Independents and Democrats continued to choose FNC over any other network with viewers and A25-54, according to Nielsen MRI Fusion. The network was also number one among Hispanic, Asian and upscale viewers. Notably, CNN reached another new low, finishing the year with its smallest audience in network history in total day A25-54 with a paltry 91,000 in the demo and 481,000 in viewers.

FOX News Channel’s (FNC) special coverage of Vice President Kamala Harris’ concession speech was number one in television yesterday, delivering 7.9 million viewers and 1.4 million in the 25-54 demo, according to Nielsen Media Research data. Anchored by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, the FOX News Democracy 24 special coverage from 4:15-4:45 PM/ET set a record for post-election coverage and commanded 64% of the cable news audience. Comparatively CNN averaged 2.2 million viewers and 555,000 in the 25-54 demo and MSNBC saw 2.3 million viewers and 353,000 in the 25-54 demo. According to early Nielsen numbers, ABC nabbed 2.4 million viewers and 544,000 in the 25-54 demo and CBS took 1.8 million viewers and 362,000 in the 25-54 demo during the same timeframe.

FOX News Channel (FNC) will debut new immersive graphics technology during its FOX News: Democracy 2024 coverage on Tuesday, November 5th. FOX News Channel’s (FNC) chief political anchor Bret Baier will conduct an interview with Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris in the battleground state of Pennsylvania on Wednesday, October 16th. This week’s appearance marks her first formal sit-down interview on the network ever and will air during Special Report with Bret Baier at 6 PM/ET on October 16th. FOX News Channel’s (FNC) Harris Faulkner will present a town hall with Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump focusing on issues impacting women ahead of the election and news of the day at Reid Barn in Cumming, Georgia. On Wednesday, September 18th, FOX News Channel’s Gutfeld! delivered its highest-rated telecast in program history, averaging 4.9 million viewers and 744,000 in 25-54 demo. The program featured former President Donald Trump’s first late-night appearance since a 2016 interview with NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Gutfeld! was the most-watched show in all of cable and broadcast primetime, defeating the debuts of CBS’s Survivor (4.7 million P2+) and ABC’s The Golden Bachelorette (2.8 million P2+). Television’s number one-rated late-night program also beat all cable and broadcast late-night programs on Wednesday, including CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (2.1 million P2+; 310,000 A25-54), ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! (1.4 million P2+; 237,000 A25-54) and NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (1 million P2+; 228,000 A25-54).

FOX News Channel (FNC) finished the month of July as the most watched network in all of television in weekday primetime, outpacing not only all of cable but the competition on broadcast networks ABC, CBS and NBC. Posting its highest July on record and among top 10 highest-rated months of all time, FNC is the only channel to grow its audience versus 2020 and 2016, as the competition shed massive viewership. Attracting the highest viewership in television, FOX News Media was the leader in news during the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, the Republican National Convention (RNC), President Biden’s decision to end his re-election campaign and his first Oval Office address to the nation following the news. FNC delivered 99 of the top 100 telecasts in cable news, while MSNBC netted just one and CNN had zero. July was the highest-rated month since the November 2020 election as more Independents continued to tune in to FNC over any other network, according to data from Nielsen MRI Fusion. Additionally, FNC ranked as the top network in all of cable among upscale, Asian and Hispanic viewers during total day viewership and 25-54 demo.

FOX News Channel (FNC) finished the second quarter of 2024 as cable’s most-watched network in total day and primetime for 90 consecutive quarters according to Nielsen Media Research. FNC is the only network to show growth across the board versus 2023 while CNN and MSNBC both shed double-digits in the key 25-54 demo. For the second quarter in a row, CNN hit a 33-year low in total day, 18-49 and 25-54 demos, delivering its smallest younger audience since 1991. As FNC posted double-digit growth in total day and primetime, the network continued to topple CNN and MSNBC combined during both dayparts and was number one in all of cable total day viewers for 13 consecutive quarters. Through the second quarter of 2024, FNC delivered 89 of the top 100 telecasts in cable news, while CNN netted just three and MSNBC only had eight. In total day, FNC delivered 1,304,000 viewers, 154,000 with 25-54 demo and 96,000 with 18-49 demo, securing a 176% advantage over CNN viewers and 61% over MSNBC. In primetime from 7-11 PM, FNC saw 2,037,000 viewers, 214,000 in the 25-54 demo, and 135,000 with 18-49 demo, a whopping 230% lead over CNN and 77% over MSNBC. FNC continued to dominate the share of the cable news audience, capturing 50% of viewers across total day and 54% of prime viewers, the highest level of share for the network since 1Q’2023. Notably, more Independents continued to tune in to FNC over any other network, according to data from Nielsen MRI Fusion and the network was number one among Hispanic viewers.

FOX News Channel’s (FNC) Gutfeld! will be live from the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee at 11 PM/ET beginning July 15th through July 18th. Notably, FNC posted the largest gains across the board in both categories versus the prior quarter. Additionally, CNN which saw quarter over quarter declines in total day and primetime averaged just 85,000 in total day 25-54 demo, which is an all-time low in the network’s recorded history.

FOX News Channel (FNC) will host two live town halls with presidential candidates Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley focused on women’s issues in Des Moines, Iowa from 6-7 PM/ET on January 8th and 9th. Airing on Special Report, chief political anchor Bret Baier and The Story anchor and executive editor Martha MacCallum will co-moderate the town halls with Ambassador Haley appearing on January 8th and Gov. DeSantis on January 9th. Each candidate will take questions from Baier and MacCallum in front of a live audience.

Additionally, MSNBC delivered its least-watched year in the primetime demo since 1999.

FOX News Channel’s (FNC) DeSantis vs. Newsom: The Great Red vs. Blue State Debate in Alpharetta, GA was the second most-watched program in linear television last night averaging a total of 4.75 million viewers and a whopping 742,000 in the 25-54 demo which represented nearly 73% of the cable news share in total viewers and 77% of the cable news share in the key demo, according to data from Nielsen Media Research. The encore of the debate from 12-1:30AMET (9-10:30PM PT) averaged 706,000 viewers for a combined total of 5,456,0000 viewers and 1,050,000 in the 25-54 demo.

FOX News Channel’s (FNC) Sean Hannity will present an exclusive live 90-minute televised debate between Florida Governor and GOP presidential candidate Ron DeSantis (R) and California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) on Thursday, November 30th in Alpharetta, GA. DeSantis vs. Newsom: The Great Red vs. Blue State Debate will be presented on FNC from 9-10:30 PM/ET during a two-hour edition of Hannity and will also be simulcast on FOX News Radio. FOX News Channel (FNC) has named Lawrence Jones as a co-host of the network’s FOX & Friends franchise. FOX News Channel (FNC) will expand host Mark Levin’s Life, Liberty & Levin to now air on Saturdays at 8 PM/ET in addition to its regular 8 PM/ET Sunday timeslot, announced Meade Cooper, executive vice president of primetime programming. The new airing on Saturday evenings will take effect on September 16th and additional weekend programming changes will be announced at a later date.

FOX News Channel (FNC) will debut a new primetime lineup on July 17th, announced Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media. Broadcast exclusively on FNC from 9-11 PM/ET, the debate will take place on August 23rd at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Additional special programming surrounding the debate on FNC will be announced at a later date.

FOX News Channel’s (FNC) Sean Hannity will present a sit-down interview with California Governor Gavin Newsom on Monday, June 12th on Hannity at 9 PM/ET. FOX News Channel (FNC) has dedicated its London bureau to its beloved cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski, who was killed last year after his vehicle was struck by incoming fire while news gathering in a village outside Kyiv, Ukraine. In primetime, CNN averaged just 124,000 with A25-54, its lowest quarter since 1991. CNN is also down the most in cable news for the first quarter year over year across the board.

FOX News Channel (FNC) will present a documentary on the rescue of FNC’s State Department correspondent Benjamin Hall following the catastrophic attack in Ukraine that left him severely wounded. Entitled “Sacrifice and Survival: A Story From the Front Line”, the program will air from 9-11 PM/ET on Sunday, March 19th. FNC trounced CNN and MSNBC combined in primetime and total day across both categories, finishing the year as the only cable news network to notch more than 2 million in primetime viewers and 1 million in total day viewers. FNC programs made up 92 of the top 100 cable news shows during 2022. Notably, CNN and MSNBC each saw their lowest-rated years of all time in total day with the younger A25-54 demo. According to data from Nielsen/MRI Fusion, FNC also attracted the most politically diverse audience in cable news with more Democrats, Independents and Republicans tuning into FNC than any other network in total viewers and the younger A25-54 demo. This year, FNC had its second highest share of the cable news audience in its history with 53% in total day in the 25-54 demo. FNC also drew 55% of the primetime audience in total viewers.

FOX News Channel (FNC) will host a town hall with Ohio U.S. Senate candidates Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) and Republican J.D. Vance on Tuesday, November 1. Co-moderated by FNC’s chief political anchor Special Report’s Bret Baier and The Story anchor and executive editor Martha MacCallum, the forum will take place in Columbus, Ohio from 6-7 PM/ET. The event will feature a live audience of bipartisan Ohio voters and focus on key issues facing the swing state ahead of the midterm election on November 8. MacCallum will host a preview of the town hall during The Story at 3 PM/ET on Tuesday.

FOX News Channel (FNC) finished the third quarter of 2022 as cable’s most-watched network in primetime and total day viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. Marking 83 consecutive quarters as the highest-rated cable news channel in primetime, FNC also outpaced CNN and MSNBC combined in total day and primetime with total viewers, and easily surpassed both networks in the 25-54 and 18-49 demos for the quarter. FNC also ranked number one in all of basic cable in total day viewers for the sixth quarter in a row, winning every single weekday hour with double and triple-digit percent advantages while delivering 94 of the top 100 telecasts in cable news. In total day, FNC delivered 1.4 million viewers, 201,000 with the A25-54 demographic and 122,000 with A18-49. In primetime, FNC netted 2.2 million viewers, 294,000 in the 25-54 demo, and 180,000 with A18-49. Additionally, FNC’s cable news audience share increased to over 50% across all key dayparts and categories as more Democrats and Independents tuned in to FNC over any other network, according to data from Nielsen MRI Fusion.

FOX News Channel (FNC) has named Trace Gallagher anchor of FOX News @ Night (weeknights, 12-1 AM/ET), announced Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media. Gallagher will take over the nightly newscast on October 3rd, anchoring from FNC’s Los Angeles bureau. He will also continue as the network’s chief breaking news correspondent. Since its inception in 2017, FOX News @ Night has been anchored by Shannon Bream, who recently made her debut anchoring FOX News Sunday.

FOX News Channel (FNC) finished August 2022 as the third most-watched network in all of television during weekday primetime, outpacing ABC and trailing only CBS and NBC. According to Nielsen Media Research, FNC remained cable’s highest-rated network in total day and primetime with total viewers and the top rated in total day with the 25-54 demo. FNC surpassed CNN and MSNBC combined with total day and primetime viewers and was number one in all of cable with total day and primetime viewers. FNC also ranked number one in cable news in primetime viewers for the 19th month in a row and notched 96 of the top 100 cable news telecasts for the month. Notably, FNC was the only cable news network to post double-digit gains versus last month and August marked its most-watched month of the summer with every program gaining viewers month-to-month. In total day, FNC delivered 1.5 million viewers, 211,000 with the 25-54 demo and 128,000 with the 18-49 demo. In primetime, FNC netted 2.3 million viewers, 311,000 in the 25-54 demo, and 189,000 with the 18-49 demo. The network also delivered the top four programs in cable news with viewers and the top 15 of the top 16 cable news programs in the 25-54 demo.

FOX News Channel’s (FNC) Gutfeld! topped all late-night programs on broadcast and cable networks in total viewers and the coveted 25-54 demo last week while delivering the most-watched show on television starting at 11PM/ET, according to Nielsen Media Research. This is the third full week host Greg Gutfeld has reigned as king of late night, outpacing all programs with original telecasts in Live+SD and notably beating Stephen Colbert four separate times for the week when both hosts were in. Last week, from August 8th-12th, Gutfeld! averaged 2,355,000 viewers and 397,000 with A25-54 dominating CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (2,143,000 P2+; 373,000 A25-54), NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (1,318,000 P2+; 372,000 A25-54) and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! (1,084,000 P2+; 264,000 A25-54) in total viewers and in the younger 25-54 demo. In the 18-49 demo, Gutfeld! averaged 241,000 viewers, outpacing Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers and CBS’ The Late Late Show with James Corden. Most notably, after just 16 months on the air, Gutfeld has continued to top key late night show hosts, including Fallon, Kimmel, Meyers, Corden and Noah in total viewership for every month since launch.

FOX News Channel (FNC) has named Shannon Bream to helm FOX News Sunday beginning September 11th, announced Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media. Bream is the first woman to anchor the program in its 26-year history. In addition to this new role, she will also continue as the network’s chief legal correspondent. A rotation of journalists will guest anchor FOX News @ Night until a permanent replacement is named.

FOX News Channel (FNC) will present special live coverage of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee starting Wednesday, June 1st, commemorating Her Majesty the Queen of England’s 70 years of service to the United Kingdom. FOX News Channel (FNC) will debut a new Saturday primetime line-up beginning January 29th with programs hosted by Lawrence Jones and Brian Kilmeade, announced Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media. Jones will host a new one-hour show entitled Lawrence Jones Cross Country airing at 10 PM/ET, while Brian Kilmeade will helm his own program from 8-9 PM/ET and Unfiltered with Dan Bongino will move to 9 PM/ET. The 8 PM/ET hour was formerly hosted by Jesse Watters who was named solo host of the weeknight Jesse Watters Primetime (debuting on Monday January 24th), while the 9 PM/ET Saturday evening timeslot was previously hosted by Jeanine Pirro who was named co-host of The Five.

FOX News Channel’s (FNC) The Five has added Jeanine Pirro as full-time show co-host along with a rotation of Harold Ford Jr., Geraldo Rivera, and Jessica Tarlov as the co-hosts for the liberal seat, announced Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media. The moves will take place effective January 24th.

FOX News Channel (FNC) has named Jessica Loker as Vice President of Politics and Senior Executive Producer of FOX News Sunday, effective immediately, announced FOX News Media President & Executive Editor, Jay Wallace. In this capacity, Loker will oversee all political newsgathering and logistics in addition to managing FOX News Sunday, the network’s premier one-hour Sunday public affairs program which airs on FOX Broadcasting and FNC. Alan Komissaroff will continue overseeing all political coverage as the Senior Vice President of News & Politics.

Jesse Watters has been named host of FOX News Channel’s (FNC) 7 PM/ET hour, announced Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media. The one-hour program, entitled Jesse Watters Primetime, will launch on January 24th. Mr. Watters will remain a co-host of The Five, which is among the highest rated shows in cable news and will relinquish his weekend show Watters’ World. A new 8 PM/ET Saturday night program will be announced at a later date.

FOX News Channel (FNC) capped off its 25th anniversary year by dominating all of basic cable in total day and primetime for the sixth consecutive year, according to Nielsen Media Research. In primetime, FNC averaged 2,365,000 viewers and 374,000 with A25-54 along with 233,000 in A18-49. Meanwhile, in total day, the network delivered 1,328,000 viewers and 223,000 in the younger 25-54 demo and 135,000 in A18-49. The network was the most-watched basic cable network, obliterating CNN and MSNBC across the board, and the only cable network to deliver over two million viewers in primetime and one million in total day. According to data from Nielsen/MRI Fusion, this year, more independents and democrats tuned into FNC than CNN while delivering the largest independent audience in cable news, making FNC’s audience the most politically diverse (graph attached) in cable news. Notably, FNC holds 44% of the cable news audience in total day viewership and 41% of the audience with A25-54. In primetime, the network holds a 47% audience share in total viewers and 43% in the younger A25-54 demo. As a result, FNC increased its share of the cable news audience with A25-54 from 2020 to 2021.

FOX News Channel (FNC) will ring in 2022 with special New Year’s Eve coverage on December 31st from 10 PM – 1:30 AM/ET. FOX & Friends Weekend co-hosts Pete Hegseth, Rachel Campos-Duffy and Will Cain will helm the special coverage live from the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee beginning at 10 PM/ET.

FOX News Channel’s (FNC) Tucker Carlson will conduct an exclusive interview with 18-year old Kyle Rittenhouse who was acquitted today after shooting three men during protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year. A portion of the interview will air on FNC’s Tucker Carlson Tonight on Monday, November 22nd at 8 PM/ET followed by a Tucker Carlson Originals documentary on FOX Nation in December. The documentary will include additional portions of the interview as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Rittenhouse and his defense team.

FOX News Channel (FNC) has named Benjamin Hall State Department correspondent while elevating Rich Edson to senior national correspondent, announced Bryan Boughton, FNC’s senior vice president and Washington bureau chief. Previously a foreign affairs correspondent for the network, Hall will relocate to Washington, D.C. from London, England to cover the international and domestic issues surrounding the U.S. Department of State effective immediately. Edson, who has been serving as the network’s State Department correspondent since 2017, will now cover politics, border issues and national breaking news in this new capacity. Additionally, Alex Hogan will transition to a new role of London correspondent, replacing Hall overseas after being based in New York for nearly two years.

FOX News Channel (FNC) has named Carley Shimkus co-host of FOX & Friends First (weekdays 4-6 AM/ET), announced Gavin Hadden, FNC’s vice president of morning programming. Shimkus will make her debut alongside co-host Todd Piro on Monday, November 1st, while current co-host Jillian Mele will return home to Philadelphia to focus on her MBA program at La Salle University.

FOX News Channel (FNC) has signed Alexis McAdams and Brittany Garzillo as New York-based correspondents. They will begin their new roles this month.

FOX News Channel’s (FNC) Gutfeld! outpaced all late night programs on broadcast and cable television last week, during the first full week post-Labor Day, in total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. This marks the second full week Gutfeld! has held a larger audience than all broadcast late night programs with original telecasts in Live+SD. From September 6th-12th, Gutfeld! averaged 2,026,000 viewers and 395,000 with A25-54, topping CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (2,011,000 P2+; 392,000 A25-54), NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (1,571,000 P2+; 569,000 A25-54) and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! (1,331,000 P2+; 326,000 A25-54) in total viewers and also beating Colbert and Kimmel in the younger 25-54. This is the fourth straight week FNC’s Greg Gutfeld has been the most-watched host in all of late night television in total viewers.

FOX News Channel (FNC) has named Jacqui Heinrich White House correspondent, announced Jay Wallace, president and executive editor of FOX News Media. In this position, Heinrich will cover President Biden’s domestic and international agenda as well as issues impacting the administration. She will report alongside FNC’s Peter Doocy, who will continue in his role as White House correspondent for the network. Additionally, Aishah Hasnie has been promoted to Congressional correspondent beginning in mid-August, while Alexandria Hoff will join FNC as a Washington based general assignment reporter in early September.

Between 8-11 PM/ET, FNC delivered 2.1 million viewers, 333,000 in the 25-54 demographic, and 199,000 with A18-49. In total day, FNC garnered 1.2 million viewers, 201,000 with the key 25-54 demo and 120,000 with A18-49. The network also claimed eight of the top 10 cable news programs in overall viewers, 14 of the top 17 with A25-54 and comprised 61 of the top 100 cable telecasts for the month.

FOX News Channel (FNC) has named network contributor and FOX Nation host Rachel Campos-Duffy as co-host of FOX & Friends Weekend, announced Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media. Campos-Duffy will make her official debut on Saturday, June 12th alongside co-hosts Pete Hegseth and Will Cain as the only Hispanic woman to co-host a cable news morning program. Additionally, Lawrence Jones will take on a new position as enterprise reporter for the FOX & Friends franchise, effective immediately, and will continue to fill in as co-host of both the weekday and weekend editions of the show.

FOX News Channel (FNC) will launch a new weekend slate beginning on June 5-6 naming Trey Gowdy to host a 7 PM/ET Sunday evening program, Dan Bongino to host a primetime Saturday show at 10 PM/ET, and adding The Big Saturday and The Big Sunday Show (5-6 PM/ET) to the schedule permanently.

FOX News Channel (FNC) completed the most recent month of April as the most-watched cable network, sweeping the cable news competition in total day and primetime total viewers and in the key 25-54 demographic for the second consecutive month in 2021, according to Nielsen Media Research. In total day, FNC garnered 1.2 million viewers, 214,000 with A25-54 and 124,000 with A18-49 in April. In primetime, FNC delivered 2.2 million viewers, 368,000 in the 25-54 demographic, and 232,000 with A18-49 for the month. The network remains the top-rated cable news channel year to date in both total day and primetime total viewers. During April, FNC claimed five of the top six cable news programs in overall viewers, four of the top five in the key 25-54 demo and comprised 59 of the top 100 cable telecasts.

FOX News Channel (FNC) has signed KTTV-TV (FOX) investigative reporter Bill Melugin as a national correspondent, announced Jay Wallace, president and executive editor of FOX News Media. Melugin will begin his new role on May 3rd and will be based in FNC’s Los Angeles bureau.

The latest addition to FNC’s primetime lineup, Gutfeld! averaged 1,570,000 viewers, 307,000 in A25-54 and 185,000 with A18-49, dominating the 11PM/ET cable news timeslot across the board in all categories. Gutfeld! also garnered more viewers than late night programs HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher (1,080,000 P2+; 210,000 A25-54) and Last Week Tonight (721,000 P2+; 296,000 A25-54) as well as CBS’ The Late Late Show with James Corden (818,000 P2+; 219,000 A25-54) in both total viewers and the younger 25-54 demo.
