Northeast Natural Energy (NNE), a West Virginia-based natural gas producer, and Evolution Well Services (Evolution), the premier provider of electric hydraulic fracturing services in North America, today announced a strategic partnership to deploy advanced electric fracturing solutions with reduced emissions, lower noise, and community-conscious operations in Appalachia.

Evolution Well Services (“Evolution”) announces the acquisition of the eFrac gas treating division of Alliance OGP (“Alliance”). Evolution and Alliance both have longstanding experience providing mobile field gas conditioning systems for oil & gas operations across the United States. The move strengthens Evolution’s integrated service offering by expanding its industry leading in-house gas conditioning technology and expertise.

Evolution Well Services (“Evolution”) announces the extension of four separate long term electric hydraulic fracturing contracts across multiple customers, expanding partnerships as far out as 2024. The extensions serve to validate Evolution’s successful partnerships in Texas and Appalachia, as the company will continue to fully utilize its industry-leading electric fracturing technology for its customers. Together, with new technology and data driven initiatives, Evolution and its partners will continue working towards even lower carbon and higher efficiency operations.

Evolution Well Services announces a long-term electric hydraulic fracturing contract with a Permian Basin operator to begin in Q4 2022. The contract will employ Evolution’s patented electric fracturing technology coupled with an innovative Simul-frac completions technique.
