Nile appoints Mike Weston as President of International Sales and Operations. Weston will play a pivotal role in driving Nile’s next phase of global growth across Europe, UAE, Qatar, Asia Pacific and Japan, helping customers modernize their network infrastructure through Nile’s award-winning secure Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) offering for branch and campus deployments in local area networks.

Weston brings more than 30 years of global leadership experience spanning the technology, networking, and enterprise IT industries, commencing in the U.K. and subsequently spending over 20 years across Central Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. He joins Nile after serving for over two years as Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Business Machines for the company’s regional operations based out of the UAE. While there, he built on the company’s strategic vision for the region and led the organization’s growth trajectory as an end-to-end digital solutions provider with a broad portfolio, including industry-leading digital infrastructure, digital business solutions, security and services. Prior to Gulf Business Machines, he held senior executive leadership roles with IBM’s Middle East and Asia Pacific operations. Earlier in Weston’s career, he also held senior executive leadership positions with Cisco, Tivoli Systems and Computer Associates.
