Fidem Financial Expands Leadership Team with Four Senior Hires

New executives bring decades of experience to drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence across finance, marketing, corporate development, and legal

Fidem Financial (“Fidem”), a consumer finance company with over $15 billion in acquired credit card receivables and deep experience connecting institutional capital to consumers by helping banks, investors, and co-brands launch and manage credit programs, today announced that it has made four new additions to its executive leadership team. The new appointments include: Nayan Kisnadwala, Chief Financial Officer; Rachana Bhatt, Chief Marketing Officer; Tony Hill, Head of Corporate Development; and Susan Steinthal, General Counsel.

Nayan Kisnadwala joins Fidem with over 30 years of deep expertise in transforming and scaling financial services businesses. Over the past decade, he has led several private equity-backed firms, including Premium Card Limited, Amigo Loans and JBR Capital, where he served as Chief Executive Officer and successfully guided the company’s turnaround and sale to a competitor bank in the U.K. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Citi, American Express, First Data (now Fiserv), MBNA and Barclays. Kisnadwala earned his MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Rachana Bhatt brings 30 years of brand-building and commercial expertise. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President and Head of Unsecured Lending at PNC Bank, where she grew the business to $11 billion. Previously, as Managing Director and Head of U.S. Branded Cards at Barclays, she tripled the portfolio to $6 billion. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at JPMorgan Chase and Capital One, where she helped establish the Capital One brand. She began her career at Procter & Gamble, building a strong foundation in brand management. Bhatt earned her MBA from The Wharton School and dual degrees in economics and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania’s Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology.

Tony Hill joins Fidem with over 20 years of experience in leading strategy and corporate development initiatives across the financial services industry. He has aligned vision with execution, combining strategic foresight, financial acumen and operational rigor. Before joining Fidem, Hill served as Managing Director and Head of Card and Personal Lending Strategy at Wells Fargo, where he helped drive transformational growth within consumer lending businesses. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bucknell University and is active on several non-profit boards in the Delaware region.

Susan Steinthal joins Fidem as General Counsel, bringing over 20 years of experience leading legal, compliance and risk functions in financial services. She most recently served as Chief Legal Officer at Mercury Financial LLC, overseeing Legal, Compliance and Enterprise Risk. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at Citizens Bank and Citi, supporting consumer and commercial banking, business services and corporate development. Steinthal earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and her A.B. from Princeton University.
