About Daniel Craig

Instrumental to Mr. Craig's professional journey is his academic background. He received an associate degree in science from Volunteer State Community College and obtained a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and corrections from Middle Tennessee State University in 2007. Furthering his education, he earned a Master of Public Administration in nonprofit organizational management from Tennessee State University in 2022. His educational background provided him with the skills needed to manage nonprofit organizations and be a strong advocate for social change.

Before his work at Bridge Builders Program Inc., Mr. Craig was a special education teacher for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. He retired in 2022, marking a significant milestone in his professional journey.

Mr. Craig's dedication to education and building community connections is further highlighted through numerous accolades, including the Points of Light Award. This honor was given in recognition of his extensive community work in Nashville and brought him to London to represent his nonprofit and participate in a local service project. This achievement reflects his dedication to improving both educational outcomes and supporting underserved communities.

Through the Points of Light award, Mr. Craig was invited to attend the coronation of King Charles III, a prestigious honor. There, he met First Lady Jill Biden, the prime minister of the United Kingdom and the U.S. Secretary of Defense.
